Football & Hay Rack Rides!

Another great weekend!

I have to start out by saying...my, how times have changed!
6 years ago we would have been tailgating in Iowa City at 6am and partying all day!

We got a slap of reality this weekend!

Cash started getting a cold Friday and it was a rough Friday night!
I was up with him on and off all night!
Saturday it moved to his lungs (which is always does!) and he was wheezing and out of breath and I always freak out!

I started the phone calls with Mercy On-Call asking about cough medicine and we ended up talking to a pediatrician who thought we needed to rush him to the ER.
I assured them this happens every time he gets a cold so the doctor looked back at his records and just called in a steroid for him!
THANK YOU DR. KINZER!!

So we spent the first half of the Iowa game on the phone and running around trying to get Cash's prescription before the pharmacy closed!

Luckily he took a 3 hour nap and woke up almost 100% better!

Saturday night we enjoyed an adult night out at our friends'...The Wetjens...who were celebrating 10 years of business.
There were lots of people there and a live band!
It was a lot of fun!

Sunday was a day spent with family!

Travis had his first 5th/6th football game.
Both teams kicked butt!!
The boys love their cousin Luke...

After the football game we headed to the Spratt Farm to celebrate my Grandma's 84th birthday!
A hay rack ride is always involved along with good food, babies and very tired kids on the way home!
Here is my Grandma Spratt...member #2 of the Spratt Family holding member #74, Brixton!
I'm counting my Grandpa as #1 and Grandma as #2...
...they had 8 kids and their 8 kids have had 22 kids and those 22 kids have had 20 kids!
We have a very large family but it's the best family in the whole world!!

Here's just a fraction of our family!
What a great Sunday we had:)

I'm back at the garage saling again...
I decided to have another one!

I dread putting my clothes away and realized it's because it's too crowded in my closet!
I cleaned it out and ended up with 3 large garbage bags of shirts alone!

So then I moved onto the boys closet and surprisingly found a huge Rubbermaid full of clothes I'm selling!
If anyone is in need of boys clothes size 3T come check out the garage sale!

Gonna tackle my shoe issue and the boys' this week!

Garage sale will be this Friday 5:30-?? and Saturday 8-12!

Happy Monday to all of you!
Go out and make it a great week:)
