Back To School 2016

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Some (cough**cough...ME...cough**cough) might say it's the best time of the year!

I'll admit I'm not too excited about all the homework that comes with back to school time but we'll find our groove and settle right in!

This year Pierce is in 2nd Grade and Cash started Kindergarten!!

Both boys were soooo ready to start... which makes it easier for me!

The week before school started they had an open house/meet the teacher night!

We dropped off all their school supplies as well.

Tuesday, August 23rd was the BIG day!!

My alarm went off at 6:10am and both boys were up, dressed and had eaten breakfast!

I think they were just a little excited!

Christmas in August

Earlier this month we went north to Wabasha, MN for Christmas in August!

Every year we try to get together with my mom and her siblings... and all their kids and grandkids.

With every one's schedules being so crazy we decided to do it in August this year!

I think it was a brilliant idea!!

We left Thursday night so we could have the whole day Friday there!

The boys had so much fun swimming with Cody!

We ate lunch at Slippery's!

My cousin Chelsea and her husband Chad hosted all 28 of us for the whole weekend!

There was a meal schedule so you knew what day/meal you had before coming!

It all worked out great!

 We spent all day Saturday on the Mississippi River boating!

It was interesting with a newborn but we made it!

He enjoyed the movement of the boat!

The kids had SO MUCH FUN in the sand!

They climbed this huge sand hill then ran down it!

Birthdays And Baptisms

Pierce turned 8 on August 16th!

For his birthday he asked for work boots and Peterbilt stuff...

...what 8 year old boy wants these things?!

On Sunday, August 21st Kroy was baptized into the Catholic Church!

The boys were excited to sit in the front of the church and to be involved in it!
