Family Weddings

Yes I said weddingssssss!!

We had two family weddings this summer and if anyone knows the Spratt family you know we love to have a good time!

I'm 100% sure we had the best time:)

 My cousin Brad married Chrisy on July 19th!

Gorgeous couple!!

 

 I'm a little biased but there are a lot of beautiful women in the Spratt family

{We told my cousin Lindsey (third from right) to get her audition tape ready for The Bachelor for the upcoming season....Chris the farmer from Iowa:) }

 

Duck face and smiley has so much fun at the wedding!

They had a photobooth and we all had tons of fun!!

 

 There comes a certain time at night when the boys are done done and done;)

Travis was a good man that night and took the boys and my grandma home.....while I stayed and partied;)  He's a keeper!

 Everyone had fun dancing!

Side  note:

You'll notice my children and their father are not in any pictures....

...that's because both of our boys were sick with fevers and Travis took one for the team and stayed home:(

 

It was not an easy decision and I suffered "mommy guilt" the whole night!

I think I was just bummed they were sick and couldn't enjoy the fun day with everyone!

 

I left Pierce at home bawling on the floor because he's old enough to realize what he's missing...

...hardest departure to date:(

I made the most of the day because it truly was a great day and a lot of fun guests were in attendance!

4th of July Vacation!

We had a fabulous 4th of July with amazing weather!

We actually had to pack and wear sweatshirts and coats during the fireworks!!

 

Our city puts on a kids day in the park with a lot of fun things to do!

Pierce opted out of riding a horse and got his face painted instead;)

Cash got on the horse...which is a big deal people!!

 One good thing about small towns is driving the golf cart around all day wherever you want to go!

Pierce loved it!

 The one and only picture I got of the boys....Pierce is starting to say "BACATION" (because we were leaving the next day!) and Cash is holding his privates;)  What can ya do?!

On July 5th we woke up bright and early and headed to Wabasha, MN for VACATION!! 

 We stayed with my cousin Emily and her family for 2 nights and enjoyed the Mississippi on their pontoon!

So much fun!!!

 Best slip'n slide EVER!!  Pierce loved driving the boat with Brielle!

This adventure about gave me a heart attack!

The middle picture is me sitting in the pontoon watching the kids climb that huge sand hill.

Travis also climbed it with them....and he took this picture of Cash and Brielle on top:)

The second half of our vacation we headed up to Eau Claire, WI to a waterpark resort.

All I wanted was one good picture of the boys....and this is what I got;)

 

The resort also had a huge arcade with lots of fun things to do! 

We rode go carts, bumper cars, bowled, putt putt golfed, laser tag, got lost in an outdoor maze and lots and lots of swimming!

The boys loved vacation and ask every day when we can go back!!

 

A big THANK YOU to my cousin Emily and her husband Tim for being wonderful hosts!!

We really appreciated everything!!



Lake Front Property With A Fire Truck Ride

As promised....more posts from our summer...and my 2 month break;)

 

We had some major flash flooding this summer and the water got a little too close for comfort!

 As beautiful as this sunset was I just wished it was on an actual lake...and not in my back yard!

We were lucky enough not to get water in our basement....some of our neighbors were not so lucky:(

 This was the water the next morning...thank God!

We took the boys to our local county fair this year because they were having a "carnival"...

....this mama was not impressed but the boys had fun...and that's the only reason we went!

We were involved in the fireman street dance poker run again this year!



 The boys always have so much fun riding in the fire truck!

Good times had by all!
