BACK TO SCHOOL.....this momma's favorite time of year;)

It was a loooooong summer with a very difficult 6 year old.

We went round and round with each other but we both survived (a miracle, really!) and now it's back to school!

{Love him to death but man oh man does he know how to push my buttons...every single one of them!}

First up was open house and meet your teacher night!

Kindergarten and 3 year old preschool...here we come!!

THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!

He was so excited and had absolutely no nerves whatsoever!

Mrs. Woods is his teacher! We love her:)

Pierce and his cousin Makenna are in the same class....poor Mrs. Woods;)

He had a great first day of school!!

No tears from Pierce or mommy....I was the mom doing cartwheels out of the school...BAHAHAHAHA ;)

He had quite the attitude at home the first week....and his head blew up (he thought he was the sh*t!!)...but as long as he saves that for home and not school I guess I'll take it!

Everybody kept talking about how their kindergartner crashed early every night and was so exhausted...that NEVER happened here! Just saying!

Now, being three weeks into school, his head shrunk and his attitude is better and he absolutely loves school! He picks his outfit out the night before and is up at 6am dressed and ready to go...even though he doesn't leave until 8!

I hope this "loving school" things hangs around for another 12 years....wishful thinking I'm sure but it would be great!

{You wouldn't know by looking at them but they are only 11 weeks apart in age...I grow 'em big!}

I was worried about Cash leaving me (we've been inseparable for 3 1/2 years people!) but he did amazing! He went right in like a big boy and LOVES preschool!

He asks me every morning..."do I have preschool today?"

Let me tell ya how different my boys really are!

Pierce wants to wear mesh shorts and a t-shirt every day and Cash has to wear khaki's and a nice shirt every day...even when he's not in preschool!!

{hand-me-downs aren't looking so hot around here!}

My kids did amazing the first week of school but this mama struggled!!

I introduced 3 new families to the daycare...sent my oldest off to kindergarten...my youngest off to preschool...Travis was busy every night...and I suffered for 2 weeks with a sinus infection and double ear infection!

BUT....we survived and this is the new norm here.....
