Christmas in August

Earlier this month we went north to Wabasha, MN for Christmas in August!

Every year we try to get together with my mom and her siblings... and all their kids and grandkids.

With every one's schedules being so crazy we decided to do it in August this year!

I think it was a brilliant idea!!

We left Thursday night so we could have the whole day Friday there!

The boys had so much fun swimming with Cody!

We ate lunch at Slippery's!

My cousin Chelsea and her husband Chad hosted all 28 of us for the whole weekend!

There was a meal schedule so you knew what day/meal you had before coming!

It all worked out great!

 We spent all day Saturday on the Mississippi River boating!

It was interesting with a newborn but we made it!

He enjoyed the movement of the boat!

The kids had SO MUCH FUN in the sand!

They climbed this huge sand hill then ran down it!
