Summer Baptisms

Oh my....sorry about the 2 month break;)

Summer got away from me but I'm back and ready to blog!

 

I've actually missed blogging and can't wait to catch you up!

Hold on and get ready for a Heitman catch-up!!

 Travis and I were honored to be our nephew, Corbin's godparents this summer!

Isn't he just adorable?! :)

 

This is how LynDee (Corbin's mom) and I showed up to the church!

It was a great day spent with family!

Later in the summer I was honored to be Delaney's godmother!

We had a lot of fun this summer!

I loved these random Friday nights when my sister would call me and say she was coming to town to stay overnight!

I live for these nights:)

The kids have so much fun together!

We also spent many hot days at the Heitman pool!

I golfed the day before this picture and was super sunburnt...

....I went to our local dollar store and bought this hat for $5! 

She did the trick;)

So much fun!!

I needed a little pick-me-up this week so I look at these to make me laugh!

I want to be mad but can't because I have so much to tell him;)

June Catch-Up #2

Still trying to play catchup with June!

 

 Love this picture because Travis and Pierce (on the right) are both out and Cash is still wide awake watching the movie!

 Pierce is in need of a haircut (badly!) and this is what happens when you spray SPF all over;)

I had last Friday off so we made the most of the beautiful weather!

Travis and I golfed for a few hours while the boys napped and watch Frozen with my mom!

When we got home Travis got the sprinkler out and they had so much fun!!

Sunday was father's day!

I captured this picture a month ago and saved it for fathers day!

I think it's the perfect shot of all of them!!

 It was Travis' day so he got to choose what we did all day!

He chose fishing!

We had supper with all the Heitmans then went to see my dad!

It was a great day:)

 

A big happy father's day to this guy....

He's the hardest working man I know! 

His work ethic is one I've been trying to achieve! 

Other then his 20 minute power snoozes he will never be caught sitting down and relaxing..there's always work to be done!

He is officially retired (and doesn't need to work!) but he continues to put in 60+ hours of work a week sometimes! 

He still thinks he's 20 years old and no amount of work will stop him!

I admire this most about my dad!

Oh and the fact that he's an amazing grandpa to my boys! 

Pierce is just like him...working all the time!

We are very lucky to have him in our lives!

Also want to wish my father-in-law Randy a happy father's day!

He's another hard working man that Pierce looks up to!

 The boys love going to "the farm" and often throw fits when we have to leave!

 

We are very lucky to have two great men in our lives!

June Catch-Up #1

I cannot believe it's already June 17th!

Where the heck did June go?!

 

We've been keeping busy with T-ball, slow pitch, golf, spray tans and everything in between.

Travis and I celebrated 7 years of wedded bliss...

...and I have, in no way, gotten the 7 year itch;)

 

We've created a fabulous life and I cannot wait to see where the next 60 years takes us!!

Little Miss Delaney Jo had her last day at Auntie Kim's daycare:(

We sure do miss her!!

{But I know she's in good hands!}

Pierce is on the same T-ball team as his cousin, Makenna.

These two are going to be T-R-O-U-B-L-E growing up together!!

Whenever a Spratt gets married our aunts throw a themed shower!

We celebrated my cousin Brad and Chrisy's shower with a neon theme!

So fun!!

It was a fun night!

And once again we had bad weather and it always seems to happen around bedtime (my only kid-free time all day!)

I was enjoying some DVR and quiet time when the storm rolled through and within minutes this was my night!

They were both out quickly so we carried them to bed and I went on about my night;)

And luckily the weather didn't get too bad!

 My uncle Quent turned 50 so my mom and I made the 4 hour trip to attend the party.

This is my mom and her sisters!

 I had to snap a pic of the birthday cake!

Perfect:)

 My mom and I met up with her sister Mary and husband Steve in Des Moines and jumped in with them.

They drive a Jeep Rubicon and once we hit our destination he took the top off!

So fun!!

Rehearsal & Ending Preschool

Big week and weekend coming up!

 

Pierce has his very first dance recital!

 

 I'm pretty sure I've shared this picture before but this is his costume...adorable!

 We had dress rehearsal last night and survived....barely!

 

I didn't make the best decision when having a spray tanning party here also last night.

I started tans at 6:30 thinking I would definitely be home since rehearsal started at 4:30!

I was wrong!

 

I got to see Pierce dance on stage then I seriously ran through the parking lot to my vehicle and raced home....only to find 2 cars in my driveway with spray tanners waiting on me!

 

Luckily our friends brought Pierce home....and I started tans at 6:30 and didn't stop until 9:30!

Travis helped out with the boys until he had to leave for slow pitch softball.

 

I couldn't get the boys to lay down so Mr. Cash was up until 10pm and was up bright and early at 6am!

 

The last few days have been crazy and I'm just thankful it's Friday!!

Although our craziness continues...for some reason Fridays make it all better;)

 

**Side note**

I'm very thankful I have boys in dance and not girls!

Oh good God...seeing some of the moms walking around with laundry baskets full of costume changes...the mass chaos of where each child needs to be and what costume they should have on...and the makeup and hair!

I had anxiety just watching them (shocking!)

Today is Pierce's last day EVER in preschool!

 

This picture was taken yesterday because it was his last day in Lil' Raiders!

 

This is today!

G'ma Spratt has carpool on Friday's so we took their picture!

Pierce thought G'pa took today off for his last day of school and we just let him believe that;)

In reality he was off for an eye appointment my mom had to drive him to:)

So he got in on the picture action too!

And I had to share this too....

Same outfit...2 different brothers...9 months apart!!

Pierce wore this on the first day of preschool and Cash is wearing it on Pierce's last day of preschool;)

We thought Pierce was big for his age but I think Cash has him beat....3 years old weighing in at 44 pounds and wearing a 5/6!  Good lord!!

And by the way...when I say "big" I don't mean fat or husky...I simply mean big!  That is all!

 

I'm not afraid to admit my kids are solid;)
