I mentioned in my previous blog there has been so many changes in our lives since I last blogged.
I'll get to the changes in a little bit but first I want to share our anniversary fun!
Travis and I celebrated 10 years of marriage on June 2nd.
If someone would have told me 10 years ago that we'd have a baby on our 10 year anniversary I would have laughed in their face!
But here we are, killing parenthood... bahahahaha!!
Around our 9 year anniversary we started planning a trip to Mexico with Westfalls and Wardenburgs.
We all were celebrating some big milestones so we went big!
In February 2017 we took off for Mexico!
We had the best time and our resort was amazing.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
Each morning one of the guys would go down early in the dark and place our towels on our lounge chairs. We'd meet for breakfast at 9am and resume our positions on the chairs for the day!
It.Was.Awesome.
Every night we would try a new place to eat... and then go to bed shortly after from all our day shenanigans... HAHA!!
Here's (some of) our trip in pics....
Bright and early flight!
Totally worth it for this...
The water was beautiful!
Catamaran day! The water was beautiful!
A lot of drinks... a lot of drinks!
We wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for this swim up bar!
One day our resort hosted a foam party... it was a blast!
We were there over the super bowl and they put on a great party!
We watched the game on a big screen outside on the beach...PERFECT!
Housekeeping heard about our anniversary so we got some goodies!
There are 100 more pictures I wanted to share but I'll leave it at that for now!
Such a fun group to be with!
10 years sure did fly!
We've created a pretty great life and we are definitely blessed!

Now... onto the changes!
After 8.5 years of doing daycare in my home I decided it was time to be done.
I enjoyed it while it lasted but it was time to move on.
This was my last day with my crew....
Yes, all of them came to my house!
Not all on the same day and some were before and after school, but they were all "my kids!"
It was very hard to say goodbye because this was, by far, the best group I've had!
Not only are the kids wonderful but their parents were equally as amazing!
I still talk to and see all of them regularly!
If I can give you any advice it's be good to your daycare providers!
It's a tough gig and they need your support!

My last day of daycare was February 2nd...
February 3rd I jumped on a plane to Mexico...
February 10th I returned from Mexico...
and February 13th I started my dream job at Ackerman Plumbing!
What a whirlwind of emotions my body went through that week but it was all worth it!
That's me.... Director of First Impressions!
I could not be happier with my decision!
I'm a better wife, mom, friend and all around better person because of this move.
The company I now work for is amazing and it's the perfect fit for me!
I'd be lying if I said the transition was smooth... because it was not!
We've never had to have daycare, let alone pay for it!
I was shuttling Kroy to Brittany's daycare 3 times a week and to my mom's twice a week. Plus hauling Pierce and Cash out to my parents to catch the bus.
Luckily Travis is off work at 3:30pm so he was home when the boys got home from school!
And things have settled down since Kroy started his permanent daycare at Susie's in June!
The older boys are spending a few days at my moms this summer and we have a high-schooler coming in 3 days a week. Elias is awesome with the boys and they look forward to him coming!
So, for now, things are going smooth...
...until school starts in August and we start the rat race again!
But until then I'm going to enjoy it!
Thanks for staying with me on these marathon posts!
They'll get shorter...I promise!
{These catch-ups are hard to contain!}
